Electric Fire

Did not know where to put this but here goes - I do have a good oil system but like that it takes a while to heat up - a few years ago I replaced my fireplace with an electric fire inset - but since it was summer - did not get tried out until winter when it was faulty and never worked and also at that time the guarantee was up - even that the seller was not interested.

However just to give the living room a bumper of heat to start off in the mornings time I was looking at he Halogen heaters - Poundstretchers have sold out of them - I have researched them on internet and seem to do the trick. They were half the price compared with the same as on B and Q - anybody know where I could get one quickly. This is probably an insane posting what with this weather but I would take my chance. Thanks

thanks - Argos do sell the one I am looking at for twice the price of Poundstretchers. To hell I am just going to turn the oil up - thanks guys for your answers. If I turn the oil up too much and the boiler blows up along with me - you will know I wont be around for a very long time.
