I am currently using Open Office 3.3.0 and I see that there is now an update to Open Office APACHE 3.4.1.
Is this a straight forward update to O.O. or is the O.O. "Apache" a different animal??
Why the name change??
TIA.

Open Office was originally developed by OpenOffice.org, but OpenOffice.org was sonated to the Apache Foundation in 2011.

Personally I switched from OpenOffice to Libre Office (which also started out as part of Open Office), at that time, because Apache stopped bothering with a British English version.
