Bright Green Apple Flavoured Liquorice

As you have probably realised by now, I am rather partial to liquorice. Daughter and grandchildren got me three assorted bags as part of my Mothers Presents. I am slowly working my way through them, plain, black currant and apple.

I do have to ask, and this is not a criticism, why I see the word "sat" on here quite often indicating that you are "sitting" there with something. It must be a Britishism. Any comments?
