Where Has The History Gone?

I used to be able to open the History icon and see all the sites I had visited today or on a particular day, up to about 3 weeks backwards. As of now, all I am getting is a couple of sites, yet I have visited lots of sites today. Has it disappeared somewhere?

You may need to check your browser settings. Have you changed browser recently? Or maybe someone has accidentally or deliberately deleted the history.
Does anyone else use this computer?

How do I check browser settings please? Not been changed to my knowledge. Would appreciate any help.

Could it Be windows Internet Explorer?

Open your browser and then select
TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS

You should then see an option saying "Delete Browser History on Exit"
If the box is ticked - untick it and that should do the trick.
