Ooh I can - I'd rather sleep than sort. I was pinned down by the cat for over an hour earlier today.

I decided years ago there was not much point doing too much around house as it all needs doing again next day. Today done the washing, been shopping, made slow cooker beef and cheese dumplings and about to sew a button. I am conveniently not mentioning the 2 hours I played online bingo!

If the internet is negatively impacting your life then the trick connemmara is to do all of your housework, bills and shopping etc.. Before you even come onto the computer or if you have to check your emails, facebook and ebay accounts then ban yourself from everywhere else until everything is finished then you can relax with a nice cup of tea and not have to worry about anything. :)

I saw the word "Housework" in the Latest Posts, and it rang a distant bell. I've thought and thought about it but I still can't quite remember what it means! Oh never mind.

Henrietta I always get around to getting it done - in fact I hoover and clean every single day and just tidy up when I go to bed. Dust about 3 times a week and have a dishwasher so that's that. Just finished washing the floor and on the site now to let it dry out - then I am for Mass at 9.00 for Easter vigil. Boring or what.

By the way I am not on Facebook, Twitter or any other sites. Just use ebay if I am looking to buy something but that would be it.

and I dont do "social networking" sites either. I cant imagine having to friend or unfriend people. Life is complicated enough as it is.

I don't do "social networking" either, but I am quite addicted to the MoneySavingExpert site.

Sometimes I wish I'd never discovered it.

I do everything I need to do before coming on. You will rarely see me on here before 7pm when I 'treat' myself to a few hours of internet.
