no idea where to put this but seeing as everyone seems to look here then here it is :)
how do wires get tangled? i mean seriously ... i plugged my phone into charge and put phone on floor then i put laptop plug in next plug socket and put it on the floor.... got my hot chocolate and when i picked up my lappy the wires were in a frenzy and it took me ages to untangle them!
hi matt, they are never in the box, the lappy is always plugged in downstairs but i brought it upstairs and the charger...ok ill give you that one cos it spends a lot of time in my bag. Are you saying the wires have some sort of intelligence? Does this mean the charger attacked the laptop wire do you think
When we moved our tv cabinet to decorate, all the wires were tangled. It took ages to sort them out. We put the cabinet back but had to move it again a couple of days later. All the wires were tangled up again!
Read "Three men in a boat" by Jerome K Jerome. They discuss the evil behaviour of tow-ropes, which have some sort of gremlins which turn a beautifully coiled tow-rope into an insane mish-mash as soon as peoples' backs are turned.
If you coil the spare wire and put an elastic band around the coil then the wires will nevebe long enough to tangle
Nb. I never do this which is why my wires are as tangled as the next person.
The really strange thing is that even if they go from a plug in a socket to a piece of fixed kit such as a TV, desktop computer, printer etc. they still get tangled.
Its all to do with quantum enganglement. If Einstein had had a desktop, printer. phone charger, backup hd drive, laptop charger, et. he would discovered quantum physics long ago.
