Pretty sure wardlaw is right about our national anthem being alone in referring to our monarch. It is, by the way, more than invoking the Almighty to help in our politics (as G B Shaw once summarised it). It is a very crafty reminder to our monarch not to interfere but to ever give us cause to wish him or her a long reign; don't give us cause and you'll go the way of Charles I and, in particular, James II who was replaced by Parliament's choice.
The Dutch national anthem says nothing about their monarch but praises a Spanish one. Now, that is a twist!
