If an airbag inflates in a spectacle wearer's face will it shatter their glasses, and whats the result - will it be a cut face?

Why wouldn't it shatter their glasses? People get broken noses from air bags don't they?

Very unlikely IMO. An air bag is a safety feature not a danger feature, surely they would be tested against this sort of occurrence.

A slightly cut face or broken nose is preferable to one flung through a windscreen though.

I've seen people with horrible injuries from seatbelts after an accident but it still saved their life.

This happened to me last year and no, my glasses stayed intact but I had a but of,a red pitch across the bridge of my nose.
