Whats the latest on the beached whale in the Thames !! Have the fun police or the PC brigade decided to have the poor thing 'put down' ?

it died while they were trying to rescue it. not fun.

...so sad......:-( all that messing around with slings and cranes and barges.......must have scared the poor creature to death..........surely it would be possible, to build a sort of giant floating swimming pool type thing and gently guide these animals inside and just sail out to sea with it...........there must be enough money in "animal welfare" circles to construct a few dozen (or even hundreds) such craft and have them dotted around the world at strategic places.....I mean they don't have to be THAT big...a hundred feet is nothing of a boat and would be quite big enough.....so so sad...............
