I know this is completely irrational so would value your views.

If someone is coming to my house who has been invited but I do not know, such as last week I had to get a quote for a new roof I get a little annoyed if they park in my drive way.

If they ask first I have no problem and say 'of course you can' but when they just pull into the drive before knocking on the door it just get my back up.

Just being silly, I know, what do you think?

You should live in my house Millie, not many people are brave enough to attempt the drive, those that do don't want to take their foot off the brakes.
I would EXPECT them to park on my drive!
If I am invited to someone's house I may or may not park in their drive depending on space in road etc. If invited would not expect hostility from owner!
You're jst being a sillie billie
To be honest most tradesmen recently to visit my home, have parked in the roadway, but only last week I asked a chap for a quote for some garden work and was a bit taken aback when he drove on my drive.
