Nice to see the peddling of delusion continues apace within the Church, as it tries to "teach" the "nonbelievers" the right way..

Why is that hypocritical? The Church and the faithful genuinely believe in the nonsense and therefore are genuine in speaking to non-believers. The non-believers are free to make up their own minds.
Hypocrisy...at least if you are going to criticize spell it properly. I'm with Fred on this one. These folks genuinely believe they are bringing the non-believers to heaven. As long as they are not forcing anyone (as they do in some other beliefs) to follow the codes of the religion, I see no harm in it.
I see no hypocrasy on the part of the church in this case but in many religious societies it is the Mafia and criminal societies who make up the mass of the congregation. Mexico and Italy are prime examples where the church is massively financially supported by the criminal classes and the church rarely speaks out against them. Now that's hypocrasy on both sides.

It’s a bit uppity of them to imagine that they know better than, and can influence, the people who have no interest in going to heaven.
^^^ But Naomi just think of their mind set and what is the difference beween a cleric and a scientist in the way they answer an hitherto insoluble question.
The cleric doesn't address the question because he already knows the answer, it is God. Dead end.
The scientist reads the question and then seeks to find the answer and then seeks to prove/disprove the answer to prove/disprove .....................

The believer is not interested in seeking the truth, because for them they already know it. No discussion. No investigation .
Should they attempt to answer a question it is by quoting chunks of garbage from the bible. It is never something that can be put to a test.
They use the bible to prove the bible, that's what they think is a test.
