Lost Cookies

I stopped using my PC about 8'ish and started again about 11pm, but didn't log off. I now seem to have lost all my cookies, yet haven't altered anything.
Any ideas?

It's remembering all my passwords that's a bugger AP, I don't want it to happen again.

If you have recently installed some software to help you protect you computer from viruses / trojans / malware it may also be running a computer cleanup (including cookie deletion) periodically.

i have all my cookies deleted on shut down
its not anything to bother about you'll get them all back when you visit the pages you did before you lost them

No deggers I don't. The problem is that now each and every site I visit I have to log into again (including this one). I never actually log out of here.

yeh, but i dont store my passwords
but i can see where your coming from
IF your using CC cleaner,untick the cookies box it wont delete them

That's the problem deggers, it is unticked.

look in internet options / internet properties/see if "delete browsing history on exit" is not ticked

It's just happened again................put my PC into sleep mode about 7pm. came back on just now and I've had to log onto this site where I never actually log off.

How do you know if you have lost your cookies? Personally I never eat biscuits.Think I am reasonably sane.
