Protaras is further up than Limassol, on the cost, Limassol is an Industrial Port, it not a great place for your typical holiday place, I like the shipping side of life so the port Interests me, I was going to take a person that had L.D. to Polis, that did not happen due to a serious problem that occurred at the Home, I am still in contact with Christos in Polis, he is wheelchair bound & has a property that's adapted for person with L.D. & are wheel Chair bound.
We went to Limassol for a 'package holiday'. Not ideal, but yes the port is interesting. It's ok to walk down that end, along the coast, but our hotel was slapped bang in the middle of huge tower blocks, that were being built day and night. I suppose that's what Trip Advisor is good for though, eh! :-)

I have to go now, TWR, but it's been nice chatting. Have a nice day :)
What's a holiday?

Take Care.
This question equates taking a holiday with taking a plane. Ain't necessarily so.
I love the holiday. I( don't mind the travelling to and fro the airport, but I hate the waiting! I can't even get through the gates with a bottle of water, I've no idea how you sneak your sarnies through!?! I could take sarnies if I'm willing to get them from one of the airport shops, but that would be my two weeks holiday money blown before I even board (ok, alight exaggeration, but those shops ain't cheap).

I love being at gatwick and waiting for Wetherspoons to open at 4am. A few pints and a bacon sarnie is the perfect start to my holiday

I love the booking as I do it in January and it's something to look forward to but nothing beats being there on the beach in the hot sun. No never take sarnies as it's a 2 hour flight. never eat only drink G&T :-)
I wouldnt know, I have never been on one.
I love getting changed from travelling clothes into shorts and summery top and having a good look around the place and then finding somewhere lovely to eat - bliss.
