At Rutland, the Manton Bay pair now have their 3rd egg in the nest and at Site B the pair produced their first egg on Sunday. Sad news from Loch Garten, they also had their first egg on Sunday, I believe. But the male Odin kicked it out of the nest yesterday while the female was off feeding. Has she been playing fast and loose?

Poor wee Monty's been back over a week now and he's been looking around for her - last night was particularly tense, because we thought he could sense another osprey nearby, but still nothing. My neck is aching, looking up every time I go out and I'm forever peering out the windows too (I only live about 35 miles south-east of the Dyfi, in the Cambrian mountains, so there's a chance she'll pass by). C'mon, Nora!!!
Come on Nora, time to get home!!
It must be a Kite day out today AP. I went down from North Bucks to Bracknell today via Aylesbury and High Wycombe. There were kites everywhere. Must have seen 40+. Brilliant, though not so good for the driving:(. Are you going to start up the photography stream again?
I haven't followed the Lake District birds seadogg. Is it just the one pair?
Have you got a link for the peregrines Carrust?
