Cheap, warm holiday

I'm looking to go on hoilday but can't decide where to go. I'm thinking fantastic,quiet sandy beaches,tropical. similar to Borneo or Malaysia but the're quite expensive, Is there anywhere similar I could go? Perhaps closer to home. Some suggested Kefalonia? Any ideas and suggestons

Yeah Kefalonia is good, not as touristy as other islands. It's worth popping into your local travel agents as they have special brochures for quieter holidays away from the hustle and bustle. Sorry i can't remember the names of other places in them, but Kefalonia was in there...

Have a look ay Egypt just come back from Hurghada, went on my own if you are looking for quiet sandy beach thats the place to go good luck
