Klieber, I found out today about poor little Ceulan's tragic death in Senegal. I am heartbroken. I joined Facebook so that I could join in with the chat and someone told me about him.

I am delighted about the egg, though. Here we go again!

Oh, Tilly, yes, I found out last week. So sad and unecessary. I wish there was a way that the fishermen out there could be helped to make their methods more wildlife friendly, but I guess these poor people have to make a living, no matter what. Poor wee Ceulan was the only survivor of last year's brood and after all he went through in last year's awful summer....
We still have to wait and see if the 3 from 2011 will make it back, as all their trackers appear to have failed - at least, that's what we're all hoping and not that they've met the same fate as Ceulan. Fingers crossed.... K

Sorry for spelling your name wrong, Kleiber. The blog 'A life remembered' isn't immediately obvious on the Dyfi home page. I haven't actually looked at the site since Ceulan left last year so I missed it.
