One of my neighbours knocked on my front door earlier and asked if she could pick some dandelions from my front lawn for her tortoise. I said help yourself. Must mow the lawn soon, lol!

Is it true you wet yourself if you pick a dandelion?
Lol, I pick the dandelions from the grass bank opposite our house to give to our rabbits :-) I dont need to ask the neighbours.
Its my clue as to when the grass needs cutting badly when I can't see the cat anymore! :)

I had a faffy morning, forgot my milk for work and my cardigan then had to borrow 50p from a nice man at the bus stop as I forgot to get change...so not like me! Nothing random that I could say though.
Our rabbit used to love dandelions leaves!

You should leave them! You never know when they'll come in handy....

I think i've maybe played too much Plants vs Zombies today :|
Don't know about picking them, Cupid but eating them does. When OH had his kidney transplant it didn't start working straight away, some don't, but after about six weeks I thought..sod this...so I asked my neighbour for the lovely dandelions in his garden...told him why and swore him to secrecy. I chopped them up in salads and within a couple of days the kidney kicked into action.
Is it out of the ordinary to discover how quickly a tummy bug can pass from one person to another? Last time I'm going to hug my poorly cousin thinking I'm immune to her bugs...Fed up is putting it mildly. :-(
Sorry to hear that, gness. I've heard dandelion and burdock is very good for the squidgies......
I like to experiment, DT....I'm trying Vodka... :-) x
sounds a lot better to me.....
Cupid, in Scotland dandelions are known as "pee the beds"

I spotted the dandelions in a neighbours garden so I will be knocking tomorrow to see if I can pick them for my rabbits. Rabbits love them.
Erm... Not today really.... I forgot my keys and rutsack to go food shopping, think that's as exciting as it's gotten today.
..and 'pis en lit' in french.
Don't some folk drink a type of coffee made from the roasted roots?
