I have frozen it before and it's been fine.
You don't really need to as it can be used all year long or can be dried. I don't know if it can be frozen it might go like lettuce...

yes you can you can either freeze it whole on the 'twig' or you can strip off the leaves and freeze that way - it is one of the few herbs that does not need freezing in water.

Thank you all. I've got a new plant because the other one is on its last legs but it seems a shame not to use whats left on the old plant. I'll give it a go.
Its brilliant frozen because it you freeze it in a placcy bag, without stems, it will crumble finely when frozen and save chopping or crushing
But don't waste the stems, cut them strip off the 'leaves' and use as kebab sticks
I once froze Rosemary Conley and when she thawed out she was offering sound dietary advice and gentle excercising tips just as well as before.

If you are dumping the old plant it is worth keeping any reasonable sized twigs for on the barbecue....they are brilliant for lamb kebabs....
