i would like to try a proper cooked lobster/crab cooked by a professional,if i dine out are trhey very expensive.

dad used to fish in loch fyne,it has a good reputation,thing is my sons would have to take me and they dont like fish
We used to fish for them just off the pier shaney mmmm
Cookies Crab Shop at Salthouse serve crab to die for .
I once caught crabs in Great Yarmouth. But that's a different story.

The Birds Eye plant, Zacs? - plenty of "crabs" in there, or rather outside at the back of the building.....
I think she did work there yes. Smelt of fish anyway.
OOh, I seem to rember fishmongers in the dim and distant past. Alas, no fishmonger or butcher either!
I worked just down the spit (good term) could smell them when the wind was blowing and see them "at it" when you drove up the sea-side of the factory. Are they still there, shaney? Fish Fingers were probably an aptly named product.....

The spit is now a part heritage site ,Time and Tide Museum and a lot of the quay over that side given over to the new outer harbour ( white elephant) and works and berthings for the offshore wind farms and the few rigs we still have .
I sh@gged a posh girl once , she gave me lobsters!
The Jolly Fisherman at Craster, Northumberland is famous for its' crabs, the edible kind, that is and also has the advantage of being virtually next door of Robson's smoke house producers of the best kippers in the British Isles.

best kept secret is a little known cafe called the covesea cafe by the caravan park at golden sands lossimouth, have to book ahead as always packed when they have their seafood evenings, best price in the country.
The Rugbyman restaurant in Brussels used to serve the best lobster dish I have ever eaten, poached with herbs and carrots in cream. I don't know if the restaurant is still there. Does anyone have the recipe? I was there last in about 1965!
