In fairness the state of the roads is probably more to do with the bad weather.
But apart from that, I am too old and long in the tooth to despair :-)
I'm just counting the days until the next general election, which at least we know the date of, that nice Mr Cameron having introduced fixed-term Parliaments :-)
My main criticism of this government is its bleak message: it's vital to have some hope and upbeat message for the present, not just the future (and I'm not even sure they have one for the future).
And my other gripe is about the Tory Party in general: they don't, I think, at heart, believe in government at all, which IMHO is one good reason why they don't do it all that well. I wouldn't vote Tory in the same way I wouldn't hire a plumber who was scared of water (!)
