The issues are: contaminating the catalytic converter with additives in LRP, and incorrect ignition timing due to the slower detonation properties of LRP. This will not be a problem with a modern engine management system as the ignition point is controlled electronically.
I wouldn't be surprised if the engine actually ran better on it.
