auction channels

Anyone bought goods from these auction channels like bidup, ibuy etc....??
Some of the stuff looks too good value, especially from ibuy. Aren't they the same people from auctionworld reported on watchdog??
I know they use premium call lines. How do they make a profit?

Having said that I bought some sheets a couple of weeks ago from price drop tv (I think that is what it was, near Channel 333) and they seem fine, but I don't know if they are going to need a lot of ironing. No labels at all. Anyway, as I say, most of the stuff doesn't even have a brand on, but great fun to watch.
bought loads of stuff from bid up, price drop and speed auction and have been more than happy with it. Even with postage it is still cheaper than the shops can be at times. Me and my mate both bought identical chairs and footstools 4 our granddaughters at xmas. mine from one of the shopping channels hers from toys are us. mine was 19 cheaper and i didn't have to drive 20 miles to go and get it !!!!! delivery is very quick too. Go 4 it !!!
I have bought from bid up tv and price drop and i got ripped off big time. The items they sale are returns and some are even damage goods. My problem is when they took money out of my debit card for someone eles's goods. Yes I paid for 300 for goods I didnt even buy. but someone out there was laughing that day. It took my over draft over the limit and i got bank charges as well. When i rang and rang and rang and wrote and wrote and wrote some more I got no where. Not even my bank could get the money back. Leave online or tv banking or buying well alone. your money and details are not safe out there.
