I didn't. Had one sandwich Friday, another Saturday and another today. Also local asparagus (Sparrow's guts!)

Yum yum! I like crab with a few slices of cucumber is lovely. Never a need to destroy the wonderful flavours by adding too much, as some people do.

I'm so frustrated that the asparagus season is going to be so short this year :-(

Did you know that asparagus makes ones urine smell funny? I only heard that this year and realise that it is probably true?

Almost everyone gets smelly wee after eating asparagus, a select few just can't smell it.

Am just about to have my fourth crab sandwich to finish it up. I paid £4 for an all white crab meat from a local fisherman. I don't like the brown stuff - reminds me of ....

I cant eat crab, about the only English food I dont like. We are having fresh dab on a bed of spinach and a couple of tiny new potatoes.

When I used to debt collect in Bridlington or Scarborough I always bought my late mum a fresh dressed crab. She thought it the height of luxury......

When we lived in Skegness a local fisherman used to sell my husband some crabs, and he really enjoyed dressing them. I realise that sounds a bit odd, but you know what I mean!

Many years I mean many when I was a kid about 12 my mother sent me up to a small wooden hut where they did fish fresh from the catch. I wondered why he said now carefull how you carry those. When I got home she tipped them out and they crawled along the table. I did not realise they were live when she used to buy them. She used to tell me to go out of the kitchen when she went to cook them. No way could I cook them I wonder if any of you could. I think nowadays they part freeze them first but no freezer at my mothers house in them days.

Oh yes! There used to be a house that boiled the crabs in a copper in the back garden, then sold them from their front room window. Many years ago now.
