a) improve your diet
b) drink coffee
c) go to bed earlier
d) have a walk outside

or f) have a lie down under your desk
Look at your sleeping pattern and diet, has this come about recently - or if it's just because your job is boring you'll have to put up with it. can you go for a quick breath of fresh air?
Get more exercise, drink loads of water (not tap), and get as much vitamin D as you possibly can.
if you're a snorer you won't get away with it
Get a job as a council bin man.

Around here they seem to spend most of their time asleep in lay-by's.

Make sure you aren't anaemic. My mother can fall asleep pretty much any time when her iron levels are very low.
Don't do what I did..................fell asleep with my head resting on one hand, elbow slipped and smashed my face on monitor.
I have a nap at lunch time on my desk if I need it or I go to my car and set the alarm on my phone
Take your employer to a tribunal for constructive boredom and failing to keep you entertained during working hours
Send everyone from the office outside to take a coffee break, close the door and then take a kip.
Don't sit for long extended hours. Try getting up and walking from time to time. Don't focus too much on work too if it gets you sleepy. Try texting, munching some snacks, drinking coffee or doing anything else which will perk you up.
Ask for some extra responsibility so you have to work harder - adrenalin will keep you awake.
You need to have adequate sleep at night to avoid feeling sleepy during the day. It really is as simple as that. If you have been sleep deprived for any length of time you will need to sleep extra to catch up.
Chew gum. Sugar-free, high-menthol flavour.
Could there be a small gas leak?
