Hi, I've just been looking at a Linksys HG200 single port modem router in Tesco, the output is a single Ethernet port, can I connect this to my PC which only has USB & Firewire or do I need a wireless PC card?
Thanks
John.

You need a PCI ethernet card which costs about 15. The router sound as if it is not wireless so it would be pointless buying a wireless ethernet card for it (obviously if it is a wireless router then buy a wireless card for your PC)

My main comment would be why by a single port router ?

You may get another PC, or a friend may come round with a laptop and what to plug in. Go for a 4 port router.

Some discussion below, biggest concern seems support.

Looks like it is wireless.

You will need a wireless card in your PC. Either internal, or I believe you can buy USB wireless cards.
