Landlords Dilemma
Hi can anyone shed any light on my dilemma. We own a house that we rent out, we lived in it for three years and decided to move back to our other house to try and sell it. We have now sold it and although we are looking we feel we might have to go back to the rented house we don't like to ask the tenants to leave. What rights do the tenants and the landlord have. They signed a six month agreement.

As stated by EDDIES & whiskeryron this notice should not take effect during the fixed period of the tenancy which you say is the usual 6 months.
If you have a good relationship with your tenant explain to the tenant why you are taking this action.

or down load it from the internet
and remember to fill it out properly
There will be a space for the last day of the tenancy and you MUST put that in to make it valid and NOT the first day you want possession
see this: http:// www.lan dlordzo ne.co.u k/pdf/s ervingS 21.pdf
p 2 has the bit about the last day of the tenancy.
what was the dilemma by the way?
we all think you have a lemma and not more.
