So, 69 years ago today not only was it the beginning of the end of the WW2, but an even more momentous occasion was happening on Merseyside, I was born..........Happy birthday me!

What a lovely day I've had, lunch with oldest daughter and son in law, evening in pub and a few pints with son, evening with youngest daughter to look forward to tomorrow, and a phone call from goddaughter in Sierra Leone.

What a lucky man I am!
