Parish Records Help Please

Im trying to find who the parents of Cyril Bernard Tindall (born 1907 in Bridlington). He is living with his grandmother and aunt on 1911 census. He married in 1932 Bridlington to Lily Fern. Ive spent all day at the Records Office in Beverley trying to find birth and marriage records in order to prove who his parents were. Im absolutely stumped and hope someone may have access to parish records otherwise I will have to send for the certificates. Thanks in advance

Annie E Tindall nee Ann Elizabeth Dowson married John Tindall in 1883 in bridlington, John and Annie only had 2 sons, harold W Tindall in 1885 who on the 1911 is living with his wife and daughter in rudstone and the census records he has been married 3 years with one child, and the other son was stanley morris tindall born 1896ish. There is a daughter Lilian b 1888 who in 1911 is aged 22 unmarried and living in Rudstone. I think she is a reasonable candidate for being Cyril's mother as her sister selina would have been too young to have a baby in 1907, I think lilian married a Robert Norris at scarborough in 1916 possibly and she died in 1945, but i can't see any other child of Annie E Tindall being the father/mother of cyril

Lilian is on the 1901 census as a visitor to the danby family, the wife lucy danby being annie e dowson's sister

A thought you might consider. The Mormon churchh as geneology records.
You could try accessing records from them.

Not since they've faffed about so much with familysearch.org it's pretty much useless, I've been using the IGI since it was in microfiche format in the 1980s but now the whole online search option is crazy, just can't be bothered with it half the time, they've ruined it.

here is a complete run down of what you'll find for the parish of rudston from genuki, there's a Dowson on the War Memorial and it also lists here where the baptisms are, up to 1906 in the East Yorks RO and up to 1836 on IGI

you actually might have better luck checking the parish registers of baptism for Hunmanby which is where they were living in 1911 when cyril was 3 and the registers up to 1968 for baptisms are in the EYRO

and if Lilian was his mother he had 3 half brothers called Harry P sidney R and herbert Norris b 1916 1920 and 1923 respectively

thanks everyone for all the info which sounds good. Ive got to digest it all and sort it out to make some sense of it. In the meantime Im hoping a friend has contacted the EY Fam History for me. I will let you know what happens

Just wanted to let all of those who commented on this post that your ideas were correct. It turns out that the mother was Lillian Tindall b1888. so CB Tindall was illegitimate. The family Im researching for dont want to get in touch with any half brothers and sisters, as it could turn out to be upsetting for them knowing about her. They just wanted to know who the mother and father were. Unfortunately none is shown on either the birth or marriage certificate. They were married in Registry Office which is why I couldnt find the marriage at the Records Office. I wonder why it is you cannot access these records yet you can if in a church.
