My last one. I can't get it and need to eat!

40d. Low ball given by girl who's cold, say (5-6). D?I?Y-?U?T?R. Is a low ball a daisy-duster in some sport or other (croquet? cricket? golf? beach volleyball? I dunno ...)? Or am I completely in the wrong arena, as it were, should be thinking of things like dairy butter?

Thanks to all of you. I've never heard of that in all my 72 years. Well, one lives and learns even at my age! Good job I didn't make a further fool of myself by suggesting a daily-butter.
