With petrol pushing 1 a litre, does anybody have some good tips for reducing petrol consumption?
Also does anybody know of a website which advertises where the cheapest local petrol can be found now AA petrolbusters site has closed?

I can't imagine that having the'box in neutral would mean you were not in control of the vehicle but I suppose it would mean you couldnt accellerate if you needed to.
I think coasting down hill is a good idea but why not just just depress the clutch?
Not racing away from lights & learning to read the road (& therefore rarely having to brake hard) save me petrol.
