MG ZR Petrol Light???

Hi there

I have a 54 plate MG ZR 105+ and wondered if there is a petrol light to tell you that you dont have much fuel left? Every other car has had one but ive really run this one down past the red area on the display and no light has popped on yet! Darent risk waiting to see if there is one by running it down! lol

Don't be chicken and run it down a bit more, most if not all modern cars have the light as a last resort.

don't run it down as it drag's any dirt in the fuel tank up & could possibly block your injectors. yo should always try & keep a couple of gallons in the tank.

low fuel warning light gives the driver something to think about......"well the light has not come on, i'll keep going to the next services" then they come to some road works and run out of fuel in traffic queues.keep at least quarter of a tank or you will be waiting on the side of the road for a very expensive gallon.

Ive asked my dealer and they say they didnt put a petrol light in the MG ZR or the Rover 25
