Photo Arranging

Every month I have taken a photo of my garden so I can look at the changes over the years, using XP I could put the photos in the order I wanted simply by dragging to where I wanted them, however using windows 7 I don't seem to be able to do this and therefore I get all the Aprils together etc instead of April , May etc, any ideas if this can be overcome?

Give them sequential numbers ahead of the months
