I feel obliged to repeat my joke of last year, which was:
It's good to see two Scotsmen in the singles final at Wimbledon...Andy Murray and Jock Ovitch.
If Del Potro can take two sets off Djokovic in a semi-final and three of the five sets ended in tie-breakers, I can't see any reason why Murray can't do the same. Good luck to both, though the bookies are right more often than not.
I think Djokovic has to begin as the favourite. If Murray showed against Verdasco that he was very tough to beat over five sets, so did Djokovic against Del Potro -- and DelPo is better by degrees than Verdasco.
Murray has already won a Slam title so this time he doesn't have anything to prove like he did last year, and he plays very well on grass. I think he can win it, but it's going to be a tough match and I wouldn't write Djokovic off until the very final point.
I hope he does but it must be a huge additional burden on him mentally to win with all the hype. I just hope it is a good match and, although I'd like it to be Murray, let's have a good fair game and let the best player win.
The boo mob can shut up now, he won in straight sets against the worlds number one player. It was one heck of a game with fantastic rallies and after the game they hugged each other like in good sportsmanship.
