The sun is shining and have had a lovely afternoon in a rather nice pub garden with good food, good company and good cider.

The only thing that spoilt it was my appalling sense of direction......going down the slip road of the Mototrway only to realise you are heading in the wrong direction is a bit of a bummer!

Anyway I navigated my way round through every conceivable school run across two counties and am now home in the garden with a chilled drink contemplating watering the veggies as the irrigation system appears to not be doing its thing :-(

Hope the rest of you have had a good day too!

Good food , interesting beer (Belgian fruit beer on draught) and excellent company for a sunny afternoon. Fascinating old pub too.

So sorry to hear that Rowan, when you have real sh1t going on having to be surrounded by cretins really can't help.

Hope things work out and he's home soon.
when they took the drain off suction he developed surgical emphysema... where air leaks into the tissues ... if you prod him you don't know whether he will snap crackle or pop. Drain is back on suction til it resolves . Obviously the lung didn't seal when it reinflated. Oh I wish I'd learned to drive so I could make the evening visiting as well.
One of the cretins was in danger of having her phone firmly shoved down her gob...

That's my girl, Rowan ;-)

As you well know he's in the best place, just doesn't stop you worrying or having to endure cretins with phone shoved in their gobs any easier.
Sorry to hear that Rowan - you have my mobile - if you really get stuck with transport I'll see what I can do to help.

Me too, Rowan...I'm not far from you.....Don't ever be stuck and don't knacker yourself....he will need attention when he gets home...not too much mind...you know what they're like...Love Gx
Obviously the lung didn't seal when it reinflated.

Rowan, sorry to hear of this set back, how long will it take for it to reseal ?.
maybe 3 or four days possibly longer as his lungs were not that good to start with

Thanks SD kind of you to offer but hopefully all will be ok and I can manage
Right then rowan, I take it has it's an extra 3 to 4 days longer in hospital then.

It makes you think what others are going through when a thread unfurls.

We all face our challenges in our individual ways, here's hoping tomorrow will bring some respite to all.
