I can't get anywhere with AZED this week. Has anyone managed it? I'd be grateful for any tips on how to get started. Thanks.

As we had visitors yesterday, I was able to dedicate less than half an hour to it, whereas I normally expect to finish it in an hour and a half or so. Clearly, it is much more difficult this week, so it'll take a lot longer than that!

However - LOOK AWAY ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO SEE ANY HELP - I found a few answers, although, given the format, I have so far been unable to place them in the grid. Clue 3 ac is Icarian, 4 ac is meze, 17 ac is inquere, 10d is besee and 18d is urns.

I hope that gets you going and also that I get the opportunity to go on with it myself. Cheers
