I think there's something not quite right...

Ah, that's much better, thankyou vakayu. Sometimes words just become a blur and you can't see where the problem is, it just needed that 'both' to be able to add the 'that'!!

And if you are thinking of a present, don't give them a book on divorce.There are some things it's better for newly- weds not to know. Did that once, but the couple were both lawyers and are still married thirty years later. Perhaps I should send the latest edition for their anniversary?

Ha, ha, the present is sorted. They really wanted money but I preferred giving a pressie so getting them something they'd like and use but wouldn't buy themselves.

Oh if only things were as simple now,everything sorted for any kind of celebration with a card containing a £5 or £10 note,that's when they were worth something and the recipient was overjoyed!!!

I sent a wreath to a bereaved colleague's wife
and added something hearf felt

and the girl in the shop said - you c ant say that - it sounds as tho youre glad he's dead....

oops so we settled for - Great Sympathy.....
