Failing a genuine article the electronic project DIY hobby sites might help. After all, how difficult can a charger be ? Probably just a transformer, few diodes, integrated circuit chip, and a power FET these days :-)
If you know what you are doing – you could buy one of these and either make the necessary connections directly to the battery; or disconnect the innards of the defunct charger and connect the + and – from the charger output to the required terminals.

The battery pack is rated at 1.5Ah, so this charger (400mA) should fully charge a battery (from flat) in just over 4 hours.

The idea is fine part from the fact that the unit is moulded therefore needs braking open rather than removing screws. Thanks for suggestion though. Tel
Surely one would simply cut off the 24v plug and connect the bare wires to your Ferm FCDB-2400 ? I'm assuming it is current limited to 400mA, things may get a bit hot if it is not and the drill tries to get a higher current.
