Hen Nights

In the afternoon the "girls" will be having hair and nails done and generally having fun. In the evening the celebrations move to a posh venue.

I am invited but, will let the young ones get on and enjoy the afternoon. I will be joining them in the evening.. Naked Waiters, dinner, wine, cabaret and dancing!!

Well to be honest I won't be dancing, cos my old plates o'meat don't work like they used to !

Naked waiters will do nothing for me since there is nothing left I ain't seen a million times. I don't drink these days either.

I will stay for the meal and cabaret...before my glass coach turns back into a pumpkin.

It's the run up to a very special wedding and "Granny" here doesn't want to miss out. I feel very honoured to have been invited at 75 years old.

I will enjoy watching the girls have fun. I am however quite bemused by it all!
Weddings in general cost an arm and a leg these days and with all these added events tagged on, in my opinion its a bit OTT.

Like you I don't do OTT, My hen night was a meal out with all my daughters and friends, organised by daughters, with the strict orders of NO strippers or I would be going home, we had a lovely night.

I went on a Hen do last night, started at 11pm and we went to Pacha for the flower power, I am 70 next yr, I danced nonstop with all and sundry, staggered home at 6am, just woken up, go for it. Have to say that the athritis in my toes completely disappeared when I was dancing!

I have only been to one hen night. A strippergram turned up at the hotel where we were dressed as a fireman. However because it was a public area he was not allowed to remove any clothing. He sat down and we asked him what was his day job and he told us he was a lorry driver from Chessington : 0 (

Reporting in after the event...was good fun except for the unbearable heat as the air con had broken down.

Plenty of bare bottoms on pretty boys in flip flops, white cuffs and collars, oh and a little pinny. They were good humored participating on plenty of photo's with the girls. A drag queen who was rather more rude that necessary....in my opinion but what do I know hehehe.

I am sure I was the oldest hen in the room, but apart from being unbearably hot it was a good night all round. Didn't go a lot on the poor food but no one seemed to concentrate on food with dancing and generally having fun.. so it wasn't an issue. I did think if I was paying £50 a head in a restaurant for this crap I would complain.

I understand the Bride and her young hens taxied into the nearest town around midnight to spend a few more hours having a good time.

Next stop the wedding...

Great cupotee, so glad you had a good time. My neice's hen night's in a couple of weeks' time, I'm sure I'll be the oldie in the room :-)
