new york flights

me and my g/f are wanting to go to NY in April.

We cannot seem to find any cheap flights no matter how hard we try, and were both rubbish on the net so that doesnt help.

Can anyone help up out? We want to go direct, for about 4 nights, anyone know any good websites for this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

my bf and i went last April, we went for 3 nights and stayed at the Sofitel Hotel, which was excellent...we flew Vigin and booked it all throu expedia.com, in all it was about �500 each.

Few doors down from the Sofitel, is the diner called The Red Flame......I would go back to NY just to go there for breakfast! pancake stacks glaore!! fantastic, and its one of thoes diners that the tourists dont go too.

Please help us out. There's not much point ABers hunting for cheap flights from say, Gatwick, if you live near, say Inverness. Just let us know which airports are accessible to you and someone might be able to come up with some useful suggestions. (It would also help if you could let us know of any restrictions on your travel dates. e.g. "Must include a weekend" or "Must be in 2nd half of April").
