This website is brill - www.rodneyrabbit.co.uk

It is the diary of Rodney the house rabbit but if you go to the FAQs section, there is lots of info for people thinking about getting a house rabbit.

Yes don,t get one! Your house will never be the same again.
train it to a tray for its litter
make sure you rabbit proof all wiring, cos they will chew thro everything ;0)
We have a house rabbit, Galaxy.. She's 3 now. A large english lop. Very friendly and neutered, keeps the dog in order, house trained and doesn't chew. But it appears Galaxy is an exception. They are after all animals that don't generally live indoors,so do expect that they do dig, they do chew, they do have the occasional 'spray'; indoors - outsdoors all the same to them if they need to scent mark, they do get annoyed by attention and will bite or kick to be left alone. They need regular grooming to keep the hair under control, their fur can cause allsorts of allergic re-actions similar to hay-fever. Look in to it carefully before buying your rabbit - and I advise some kind of small pet insurance!! Good luck..
