Can't Tune Sky Into Tv

Have a new flat screen TV/dvd (Digihome) without a manual, and when I set it up the main aeriel (Sky front room) works fine, but I also have a Sky box 2 in bedroom (for the crap that Mr N doesn't want to watch) this connects via a scart, but I cannot for the life of me tune it in. I've let it search, fine tune - nothing. Absolutley no idea what to do, I am flummoxed. No idea what BG or S or C or megahertz it should be.

it will use a different source e.g. AV1 or whatever your tv labels it as

Scart input doesn't need tuning.

You need to find the correct button on the TV remote to select the Scart input.

It is usually marked AV or Input on English remotes and will cycle the TV through all the various inputs.

You should have a button with a circle and arrow or maybe a rectangle and arrow (Universal icons) on your remote.
Press that to change your input.

There is no AV button I knew to look for that, will check the circle with an arrow now. Thanks

No such button :-( I have swap, return, root, EPG (I have to add this is 2nd hand)

There is also source, and presets. two buttons one with a widescreen piccy and one with 2 screens with one dot and three dots.

There is one button with no details, have googled it may be HDMI is that any good, source didn't work, no idea of modle number, there's a couple of long numbers on the back. Am giving up for the moment and going to the beach, will try afresh tomorrow. Thanks everyone, please keep advice coming!

Right follow up: today I plugged in a external dvd player with scart and it just came on automatically, is this what my 2nd sky box should do? Will try it all again now I now the scart is working.
