Not sure we are going to get an answer on this one.
I think a lot of quiz setters are getting round to making their quizzes available by e-mail (with payment on return). Really they have very little to loose as long as they make sure the sheet e-mailed out is marked "payment on return". All extra entries I am sure would be welcomed and swell the monies raised for charity..Maybe we could do with a list of quizzes that can be obtained by e-mail or downloaded.
Any quiz setters like to offer their views on this subject?

I email Buxton Mountain Rescue quiz but only after payment made via Paypal. You don't need to have an account with them, payment is easy. I am informed by Paypal when payment has been made and I see no payment details, just name, address and email address. No postage required and can then be returned by email attachment or post if preferred. Applicants get their quiz sooner, the charity doesn't lose out on the ones that are not returned for whatever reason.
If only emailed without payment as you are suggesting, the applicant still has postage to pay for its return with payment. My method does give the opportunity of receiving and returning the quiz with NO postage.

Thanks for your response furrypusscat.
I can see your reasoning behind the method you have adopted in that all quizzes are paid for whether returned or not.
There are still a lot of people out there who will not put their card details into a computer however secure they are told it is.
My faith in human nature hopes that the majority of quizzes sent for unpaid would be returned with payment (maybe I am deluded).
Sometimes copies are passed on between friends that are then sent in with payment raising more for the charity.
Please other quiz setters give us the opportunity to get as many quizzes as poss. by e-mail. payment on return

Hi again slimseeker
I also sometimes get copies from my friends (very few quizzes actually say no photo copies accepted) which I have duly attempted and sent off with a cheque to cover the payment, presume setters have accepted my entry as I have never had cheque or money returned.
The odd few that setters do not have returned when sent out by e-mail without payment could so easily be made up by us quizzers either physically or e-mailing it to our friends who we trust.
I think this thread may have dropped too far down the radar to get much further reaction. Maybe should have started it earlier when it was on Page 1.
Maybe try again if a suitable thread appears

Thanks everyone for your interest in this quiz.
Many thanks to those that have already sent for a sheet- those of you asking about email entry- I have passed this query on to Susan Rushworth (I have posted this on her behalf) and will get back with a response as soon as I know.
Thanks again for your support & good luck with the quiz!
