has corrie made another boob or is my calculations not right. How could ED have shot Emilys husband as he was shot in 1978.Even if he is 40 that would have made him just 9 in 1978.Am I right or has my brain got it wrong.

I haven't followed the story-line, but if he was fifty, that would make hime nineteen at the time - young and foolish enough.

My guess is he's probably supposed to be about 45 (in real life he's 42). 28 years ago he'd have been 17.

By my calculations, if he is 50 now, that would have made him 22 in 1978 would it not? (28 years ago)

Yes your answers are correct but the point i was trying to make is how old is he in the part that he is acting that hasnt been mentioned but it may do yet.,as he doesnt look to be more than 40.I will be listening carefully to see if it is mentioned .Thanks for answers and I am not going to get on my soap box.

They don't specify his age - your supposed to do the maths in your head. An actors real age is no indication of the age of person he will play. There are lots of examples of actors playing younger and older roles than they are in reality.
