Fiesta 1.4 cuts out
My Ford Fiesta 1.4, 1999 V reg, sometimes cuts out after its been running for a few minutes first thing in the morning. It restarts easily but the fault is unearving, any ideas as to the cause ? The car had a new engine last year.

It's probably the petrol air mixture through the carburettor (I'm assuming it is petrol not diesel) and/or a timing problem (this is noticable by the engine pinking or misfiring) Unless you are familiar with tweaking engines it's best to take it into a reputable garage. It's not too serious but will only get worse if left alone.
I suspect the cost will largely depend on whether yours has a manual system for fuel management or it 's part of an electronic management system.
