I Love Al Qaeda
There was a picture in the Sunday Times today of a baby with outside the Danish Embassy in London with the above phrase on its hat.
I have no problem with this per se, nor the Danish cartoons for that matter, but I find it very hypocritical of the Muslims at the demonstration that they are up in arms about the cartoons yet have no qualms about putting "I love Al Qaeda" on a babys hat with the exclusive intention of offending people.
I think that they just want an excuse to all stand up and bang their drums and offend people under the pretense of being offended. Anyone agree?

Look - let's all stop the bleating and do something positive here. You get a pen, you write to your local MP and chief of police demanding answers to your questions and concerns.
You get on the Internet and you find out the addresses of your local mosques. You go down and you speak face to face with Muslim community leaders.
You take time out to talk with Muslem co-workers.
You vote in a new government...
Whatever you do, do something but quit with the "Oh it's okay for them" rhetoric. It doesn't actually do anything.
Grow up.
sp1814 it does do something. To vent anger on here is surely better than a load of mindless camel humpers bombing our city centres?
I personally feel better after a rant. What a load of pants, write to an MP?
Ermmm, what the same MP's who do NOTHING about banning Christmas, the same MP's who voted for The Queen to become Leader of ALL faiths?
The same MP's who made sure for that hooked blind kiddy fiddling cleric to got full legal aid.
Further, you find one single muslim leader in the community who is willing to "listen". [edited by AB]
It's disgusting the way these people carried on in that demo. What is this country coming to when it lets these foriegners demonstrate against people who live here like that. No action from the police or nothing. Some of the things they said and banners they held up should make any true brits blood boil. Why are we so scared of standing up to them?
Getting children involved by putting stuff like 'I love al-qaeda' on their hats is just shows that they are not interested in peace - they want this hatred to burn on and on.
Thing is the lot of them are all hypocrites - if England is so bad and they want to bomb and kill us all then why do they insist on staying here? They don't mind the free handouts. Why don't they all go back home, or at least to their 'spiritual' home. What kind of religion or god would preach hate like that?
Its about time we stood up for our country - we a drinking in the 'last chance saloon' now. How terrible it must be for our lads in Iraq and Afganisthan to see this on the news and realise all they are doing is for nothing. How can we stop these extremists in other countries when we cannot even stop it in our own. England is on its knees to these scumbags.
Having been increasingly amazed by each new day of events in this sorry saga I do feel that something is coming to a head - there is obviously a lot of latent anger in some sectors of the Muslim community and any excuse will do. It's tough - personally I feel that the greater Muslim community needs to be more pro-active in dealing with the situation, and yet there is a sense of loyalty between them which is not forgiveable. There should be no tie betwen those involved on the extreme front and those who wish to participate in and develop British society.
As an aside, I don't really fear any of those demonstrating in London - these cowardly wretches will disappear back into the system and carry on taking a living off the state/paying taxes to the govt as soon as the furore has died down. Quite pathetic individuals who as any rational being could see, by contributing to the state of affairs they claim to deplore so badly, merely reveal their own failings and the fact that they are laughable imbeciles.
But like I said, I do feel that if the intensity of feeling carries on escalating at the present rate, something will break. I hope it is not our society.

I agree...I totally agree with your posting. It feels like we're on the brink of something.
I can't remember a time before in this country when there was so much pent up rage.
As a response to what's happened, I reckon the country is going to experience a huge politcal shift to the right. The BNP will start winning local elections and very possibly end up with MPs at the next general election.
I'm sick to the back teeth with all forms of extremism. I'm begging to see the attraction of sellinng up and emigrating to Spain...maybe Andalusia. Hang on - no...my new house would probably be bombed by ETA.
Great.
See it's so easy, pick up on something trivial, take it out of context and then stamp ones feet.... 1o1 on how to be a fanatical wa**er.
Sorry sp1814, this isnt directed at you, but I couldn't resist illustrating this point. It's time for people to re-learn how to behave like adults and act responsibly or be reprimanded accordingly.
What I find funny is that in countires such as Syria and Iran, the rulers keep tight control over everything, but when something like the cartoon row erupts, they allow mass protests and firebombing of embassies.
Perhaps next time we see a union jack in the middle east we should march on an embassy (Saudi, Iran, Egypt, Yemen etc...) in London and torch it?
And if these people are so bloody annyoed about the UK, give them a one way ticket to Iran...see how they like life in a real Islamic country!
Kick us out? I was born here. Same rights as you, pay the same taxes as you (probably more if ur a scouser) I dare the silly fools to come & try to kick us out. HAHAHA
Slowly we will continue to develop and strengthen our position.
It would be great if the BNP got in power, so we can have some serious fun heheh. LA Riots anybody? You aint seen nothing yet.
Why are we here? Well we can enjoy your money, your women (who can say no to dumb blondes?) and basically chill.
You know you love us lol.
Thanks tony blair :)
