BT Broadband

Do you have BT Broadband? Does it keep disconnecting? I'm so cheesed off with it I'm thinking of switching to AOL. Is AOL any good?

I have BT Broadband at home. I had major hassles getting my connection - and I work for BT! That said, I have had no problems since it was installed, and I reckon it is superior to AOL- nothing to do with 'product loyalty' or anything like that - i hear bad things about AOL invading computers and stamping all over programmes with its sinze thirteens to install its software, which you then have a real problem getting rid of!

Call 0845 600 7020 - they'll sort your problem.

Well I must just be lucky I have had it for four years at three different addresses and it never disconnects .. I seem to be on the more expensive package though.

I'm on BT as well, no problems here either. I wouldn't go with AOL, it uses software that seems to take over your computer, a real pain!

I'm with AOL and despite all the things i'd heard i have not had any problems with them. I hardly ever open the AOL pages and just stick to Firefox or IE to access the web.

the problem could be your telephone line which means it wouldnt matter who you had broadband from it would still disconnect.

Ive had BT for over 2 years and it's been fine

Unless Aol has changed in last year or two, networking was impossible with them should that be an issue
