Afghan Intrepreters... This Is Worth Signing.
8 Answers
I'm writing to ask for your support for the campaign to protect Afghan interpreters who worked with British troops.
The interpreters took great risks to help our troops, putting not only their lives but the lives of their families in danger of Taliban reprisals -- but now the UK Government has turned its back on the interpreters. It is refusing to give support or resettlement to interpreters who completed their duties between 2006 and 2011.
I've signed the petition started by Winston Churchill's great grandson to call on the Government to protect all interpreters. I believe we should help the men that stood shoulder to shoulder with our troops.
You can sign the petition at: www.change.org/afghaninterpreters
Thank you
