Paypal
Is it worth the hassle of using Paypal on eBay, both buying and selling, apart from the immediate delivery of goods ?

For further information, and for details of overseas payments (follow the 'cross-border' link), see here:

I hate paypal! I am still waiting for a refund from them 5 months down the line as I haven't received goods. The seller became NRU after the sale & paypal say they can't issue a refund because the seller has 'insufficient funds'. In the meantime I am out of pocket by 30 which not only can I ill afford, I had to buy another item as it was a present for my daughter.
As a seller I hate paypal as they extort fees ;o) it takes a week or more to transfer the money into my account from paypal, in which time the buyer expects delivery pretty much immediately (as a buyer I am prepared to wait for transfer, though!).
Cheques & POs are a favourite for me ~ I only use paypal if I have paypal funds which I can't be bothered to transfer to my bank, or if I am buying from the USA.
