Had laptop upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. Reinstalled iTunes, now cannot access Itunes store, error message tells me this service is not available in UK. Can access account, have deauthorised and reauthorised laptop. Can see all account details, including what I have purchased but cannot access anything in the store. Any ideas?

I'm fumbling in the dark here but I'll have a go anyway . . .

>>>error message tells me this service is not available in UK

That suggest that your iTunes is configured to connect to
http://store.apple.com
(which leads to the US site) rather rather than to
http://store.apple.com/uk

Is there something in the settings that let's you change that?

thanks Buenchico, can't seeanything, thats the sort of thing I've been looking for to no avail so far. I'll keep looking
Two more suggestions:

1. Check that the correct country is selected here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1924
If the country is set to be outside the UK, but the iTunes server sees your IP address as being in the UK, a conflict might occur.

2. Flush your computer's DNS settings:
