When I am on AB,or other forum,as I view a page of answers-the print will vary in size. Several answers will be easily readable, while one below may be miniscule. There is no pattern-it seems pretty random, and does not seem to be based on word count.
This is on a tablet...and can be somewhat annoying.

I don't understand that - when I view, all the answers to the thread are in one font and size, the Topics column's in a different one.

Nope-not me. :-(
I'd say about 1 in every 8 answers will be a couple of point sizes smaller. The rest of the page is fine.
Might be worth emailing the Ed - unless it's something to do with your tablet....?
I got the same thing when viewing the site via Firefox app and opera on an android device. Presume it's something to do with the site setup not working in exactly the same way for all browser types. I switched browser again

I'm on a Google tablet...and this happens on two other forums I go on. Maybe its something to do with the way forums are set up.
As I said-its a bit annoying but not the end of the world.
I have heard of this sort of thing happening when a computer has been attacked by a virus. Is there an Anti Virus programme in your tablet.? If so, give it a run and report back.
